How much it costs?

I’m not quite sure what to write in this section.....I agree with John Ruskin about money...and like any creative person I find it hard to plan the price and write ‘it cost this much and that much’......and after all there is no definitive price , so I’ll just say:
The cost of your holiday depends entirely on your wishes and preferences.
We do not offer fixed proposals and ready made packages like hotels and travel agencies. We are tailor making just for you. In any case we try to work within the set budget. But without some main pointers you cannot create a good holiday......I’ll try and write a rough price guide so you have some idea of the expenses:
- Beautiful place (restaurant) with delicious food and good service.
- Private use of the rented place – you may want to celebrate this day at a villa, castle or scenic location on the beach for example. You’ll have to pay if you want sole use – for example in Italy the rental of a most beautiful villa on Lake Como is about 10,000 Euros.
- Banquet – the cost is very individual and depends on country and location. If you order catering, typical costs start from 200 Euros per person. There is also always a minimum price you will have to pay.
- Wedding cake – usually it is ordered separately from the banquet and the cost varies by country.
- Master of Ceremony – usually this is the main difference between weddings in Europe and Russia. In Russia we cannot imagine a wedding without him as he is needed to create an atmosphere, direct and supervise guests and 80% of the success of the event is literally dependent on him. That is why we always have one and he must be the best of the best and be able to speak 2 or 3 different languages and catch the audience’s attention. His fees depend on the wedding venue, season and time but on average costs 2000-3000 Euros plus travelling expenses.
- Sound producer (some people call him DJ, but in my case his function is more than just playing disco music)
- Professional photographer. I should explain our position – for us the outcome and the style of wedding are not dependent on the wedding photographer! It doesn’t matter who you choose! We can only recommend but you will choose! We can find you a photographer in the country of your wedding- then you will save on his tickets, accommodation and other expenses. Or we can arrange the best specialists from other countries. Every year we keep track of winners of photo awards, looking for interesting new partners in different countries. Still, if you want my opinion, the best photographers are in Moscow. Their style is similar to European’s but their pictures are real masterpieces of art and beauty. With every bride they find her unique beauty and manage to capture fresh heart-felt emotions of the special day...... but in any case as I said you have to make the choice and we only offer you the best of the best. If pictures are important to you as a memory then it is best not to save money.......this is my advice. For some events I recommend a good “photojournalist” who can capture all the key moments. Their fees normally start from 100 Euros per hour.
- Video operators – they like to call themselves stage directors because they definitely create a film about love. It depends on your preference: they can make pre-wedding videos, make MTV- style clips involving you and your guests to capsulate all the brilliance and flavour of your wedding.
- Rental cars, carriages, yachts – anything you need for your special day.
- Sound and lighting equipment – required if the selected place of wedding is not specially equipped. It is usually required to equip two areas: the place for the ceremony and welcome cocktail, and secondly for the banquet hall. The final price is calculated only after site inspection. The equipment for a musical group is paid extra.
- Hairdresser-makeup artist - on average 200-300 Euros with a repetition at extra charge.
- Florists – decoration with flowers, fabrics and other decor. The total cost depends on the choice and complexity of work.
- And finally, the commission of my Boutique – % of the total budget of all services provided (depend of the work). In some cases we determine a minimum fee – it depends on the complexity of work.
These are the important points... and it depends on your wishes, the theme of the event, the time of year and day of the celebration...the scheme can be applied to any event with some services being replaced by others.
Please bear in mind that my Boutique prefers to organize full events and unfortunately cannot provide you with only a plan or only find the artists for an event. The reason is that we focus on the holistic results and 100% success where everyone is happy, amazed and satisfied. We make sure that nothing could mar your mood or your guests’ enjoyment on this special day.
